The Micro Nav Quality Policy has been established to support the Company’s strategy in maintaining a key role in the market, whilst delivering profitability and growth.
The Chairman and Managing Director are responsible for setting annual Company objectives which are cascaded throughout the business and linked to functional targets.
The Company is committed to a Quality Management System (QMS) that complies with the international standard of good practice, BS EN ISO 9001; and meets all legal and regulatory obligations.
Micro Nav is committed to understanding and meeting the requirements of its Customers in the long-term pursuit of Customer satisfaction and aims to continually improve the service it provides whilst developing the QMS to ensure it remains effective. Only by providing an outstanding service and quality product will the Company achieve its aims of long term success and sustained improvements.
All personnel within the Company are responsible for delivering a high standard of workmanship and are supported in this quest by documented processes to ensure consistency and repeatability. The Company provides training and has established systems in place to assist all personnel to achieve the standards required.
The Business Improvement Manager is responsible for monitoring the QMS and reports regularly to the Managing Director on the system’s effectiveness and suitability.
Micro Nav Limited has established objectives across the Company that are measurable and consistent with the Quality Policy. High-level Company objectives are formulated during the management review process to provide strategic direction for the Company.
Functional objectives are developed to support the Company's high-level objectives. These may then be developed into lower-level, measurable objectives for individual processes and projects.
Project plans include either project specific or Customer derived product quality requirements. Product quality requirements are consistent with project quality objectives.
Company and functional objectives are monitored by top management through monthly reporting, project reviews and management reviews.
Micro Nav Limited employs the PRINCE2™ project management methodology across all projects; it is a project management method designed to provide a framework covering the wide variety of disciplines and activities required within a project.
PRINCE2™ (PRojects IN Controlled Environments - see UK Office of Government Commerce) is a process-based method for effective project management. It is a de facto standard used extensively by the UK Government and is widely recognised and used in the private sector, both in the UK and internationally, not least because the method embodies many years of good practice in project management and provides a flexible and adaptable approach to suit all projects.
