Sapura Defence Sdn Bhd (Sapura) is in collaboration with Micro Nav to upgrade the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Radar Simulator System (RSS).

RMAF has benefited from Micro Nav’s BEST (Beginning to End for Simulation and Training) simulator in partnership with Sapura for over 15 years.

This upgrade will ensure RMAF can increase its training capability by meeting the demand for an enhanced communication system, a mobile/tactical training facility and a self-learning facility for aerodrome and approach students. Furthermore, the upgrade will provide high-fidelity 3D airport models of Gong Kedak and Labuan, as well as additional features including Micro Nav’s BEST 3D Create Aircraft Editor, student reporting capability, scenario reporting and record playback and resume. The upgrade will be completed over 6 months. This award is further recognition of Micro Nav’s commitment and focus on the Asian market and in particular, Malaysia.
